Reviews with soul: Pentax K20D / Olympus E-3

After a few months of their introduction, there has been much information posted on two of the main dSLR players out of the CaNikon field: the Pentax K20D and the Olympus E-3. In my humble opinion, both are significant alternatives to their counterparts (Nikon D300 and Canon EOS 40D), and in the particular case of the K20D, its price/quality ratio is hard to beat, making it the best choice when you don't need more than 3 shots per second (which is, if you are not into professional sports photography). But all that is my opinion only, of course.

There we go: The Online Photographer is releasing these days a series of articles written by Carl Weese, focused on the Pentax K20D. If you have read his previous series on the K10D, you will realize these new articles are extremely interesting. There are three parts published already, and it seems more are underway:

K20D: Focus
K20D: CMOS Sensor
K20D: Color, tone: new features

(BTW, if you are curious on Weese's views on the K10D, they are listed below:

Now, let's continue with the Olympus E-3. Spanish photographer Martín Gallego just published a couple of excellent articles on this wonderful camera. Mind you: both are in Spanish (knowing languages is a wonderful thing, right?), and both are well worth the effort even if your Spanish is not very good. They are available at the excellent website DSLR Magazine, and here you have the links:
