Patios in Córdoba, May 2008

Córdoba is a place with a clear character: it's quiet, reserved, and not inclined to the ostentation. Therefore if you are walking in the old part of the city, you must pay attention to find out some wonderful places. Let's see an example:

You are walking and you see a standard street:

At your left, there is a perfectly normal old house:

But then, in the mid of May every year, some of these old houses are open to the public for visit, and you realize that it is not a normal house in any way: there's heaven inside:

For reference: all these pictures were taken yesterday in the evening, at 2 min from my home, in the Patio which won the 1st prize of Traditional Patios in the 2008 competition. It is located at the Trueque street, number 8. All pictures were taken with a Pentax K10 D, no flash, handheld, automatic ISO and overexposed one step.
