Pentax K-x with 18-55 & 55-300 zoom: the ideal kit for beginner

I've been reading lately lots of rave reviews on the performance of the latest entry dSLR camera from Pentax, the K-x, whose low light performance is said to be the best on the entry market at this time. Pentax probably realized about the potential of this toy, and they are strongly pushing with really low prices for the quality of this camera; furthermore, they are offering the camera with the 18-55 and 55-300 lenses at about $ 600 in many big internet shops.

I'm very happy with my K10-D, but I'm sure if I was today looking for a new, beginners dSLR camera, it would be the K-x, no question. The features it offers, the amazing image quality, and the unbeatable price are a proposal hard to resist. Then you have, as temptation for the future, the acclaimed Pentax limited prime lenses, which are in my "must buy one day" list for a longtime.
