The landmark is out there: "Box 'O' Chocolates", Free Boot Generation 29

Well, I've heard that the landmark release I hinted before is already out there: it is called "Box 'O' Chocolates", Free Boot Generation 29. It is a compilation of outtakes, with a perfect audio quality that puts into shame previous releases (even some official recordings). They are all in pristine quality, and it is truly a delicious box of chocolates, including some of my alltime favourites in princeland, such as "Wonderful ass", "All day all night", or a wonderful version of "We can funk" whose comparison to the version released in "Graffitti bridge" is painful for the latter.

I would like to say, once more, a huge THANKS!! to all people involved in this release, for putting these jewels, in this perfect quality, available for fans, including also excellent artwork. And furthermore, for doing it FOR FREE, since they state in the liner notes that no money was exchanged to obtain or release these outtakes. This was made out of love for purple music: from fans, for fans, no money involved.

Of course this comment is made here strictly for discussion; this blog does not distribute unofficial Prince releases, so please do NOT post asking for it, as those comments will be ignored.

  2. yep, a fine release and great that it was given out for free. Now, what about all the other unreleased stuff that we still have in less than EX quality!? ;-)
