I so hope she is right.
Anyway, the forthcoming Prince cover story on the June issue of Ebony, and the multiple hints suggesting new stuff is just around the corner, are enough to keep us purple fans in deep expectation mode. Let's hope this time the quality is quantum leaps away from Purple & gold.
I don't know if Monae's comment indicates something new on the horizon cause i don't give so much attention about this kind of comment from this kind of girl, Monae makes some good music (OK) and she is surely a Prince's Fan ...this is why his comment is nothing for me, i would take seriously this kind of comment if this one came from a guy like Eric leeds or Wendy/lisa, i can add that listening some new trax from Prince in paisley park or whereever doesn't indicate 100% that a new Album from Prince is coming!

The only Thing we need from Prince is the Reissue of his back Warner Brother CATALOGUE Remastered in Deluxe Format with Demos/outtakes…...So Prince Stop Making sites with nothing to offer / and Stop Making weak Albums…………we need to see your past Works from WB Era treated with QUALITY & RESPECT….SO PRINCE& WB ….Did u hear us….Stop MAKING WAR….MAKE PEACE & RELEASE IT!!

I really miss this site because I am not satisfied with the other Prince fan sites.
Housequake was a very comprehensive site, discussions were exciting, constructive and above all it was a unique place for fans of Prince!

Stephan, all of that info (being posted at all main places by now) smells like bullshit big time, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteAn album is around the corner, no doubt about that. But I bet all of the above information is pure fake.
i'm so tired of the run-up to new Prince albums. All these little droplets of info would be exciting if only the albums themselves were anything to get excited over. Call me pessimistic*, but all i envisage is another collection of songs that are mediocre at best.
