Our government announced today the official budget for 2012, which on average means a decrease of 17 % in the expenses for all ministries. It is the biggest reduction of public expenses in our democracy, and I guess it will have bold and ugly consequences in our economy.
In the government theory, this will be useful to recover our economy. In the real world, I am rather unsure, to put it mildly, about the supposed positive qualities of these budget cuts.
Anyway, if somebody is interested, here is the official document with an overview of the new budget.
