Now that the Fiat 500L is being officially introduced, I found out that there are projects for a bigger version, called Fiat 500XL. I could find a picture of a real size maquette, and it is the definitive evidence that my much beloved Fiat Multipla and its countless talents for a family of 6 will not be continued, much to my disgust. The picture was taken during a visit to the central headquarters of Fiat's design team.
Anyway, at least this new range of cars means that a fresh style is invading Fiat, after the very mediocre style of the previous middle size MPV, the Fiat Idea.
